This section of our site is where we will post recipes, restaurant reviews and allow a place for feedback on anything BBQ - NC or not. We just want to have a great place for BBQ lovers to congregate.
It looks a little small in the picture, but it is pretty massive in person. I am loving all of the comments and praises so far from neighbors and passing cars. Special thanks to Buddy for letting us borrow his BBQ Barn. He built this pretty lady from scratch and did a wonderful job. It has a propane generator, 250lb pig drum smoker, hot water heater, triple sink, refrigerator w/ condiments station, stainless steel counter tops, and much more. Come on by to take a look this weekend or stay in touch and we will let you know of our next event.
The picture does it's work. These lovely ladies were served to friends and family for our first son's birthday. My Traeger Smoker turned these guys out in about 2 hours at 250 to 275 degrees. I used half Hickory and half Pecan wood to add some additional flavor. Still trying to find my perfect wood combinations for the different types of meat. These would have been good cooked over manure after my dry rub and slow cooking them!
